Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 10, 2026

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how the Cash Flow Dashboard application ("the App") collects, uses, stores, and protects your information when you use our service. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data responsibly.

2. Information We Collect

When you use the App, we may collect the following types of information:

  • Account Information: Your name and email address provided through the authentication process.
  • QuickBooks Online Data: When you connect your QBO account, we access invoices (accounts receivable), bills (accounts payable), payment records, bank account balances, and customer/vendor names. This data is accessed in read-only mode.
  • Usage Data: Basic usage information such as login times and feature interactions to improve the App experience.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information exclusively for the following purposes:

  • Generating cash flow dashboards, reports, and projections
  • Displaying accounts receivable and accounts payable summaries
  • Computing cash flow forecasts and financial alerts
  • Authenticating your identity and managing your account
  • Improving the App's functionality and user experience

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise share your personal or financial data with any third parties. Your QBO data is used solely within the App to provide you with cash flow visibility. We do not share data with advertisers, data brokers, or any external services beyond what is necessary to operate the App (i.e., communicating with Intuit's API to retrieve your data).

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored in secure, encrypted databases. We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), secure token storage for QBO OAuth credentials, and role-based access controls to protect your information. QBO access tokens are encrypted at rest and are only used to refresh your data connection.

6. Data Retention

We retain your financial data only as long as your QBO account is connected and your user account is active. When you disconnect your QBO account, we stop accessing new data from QBO. You may request complete deletion of all stored data at any time by contacting your account administrator. Historical cash flow snapshots are retained for trend analysis but can be deleted upon request.

7. QuickBooks Online Access

The App connects to QuickBooks Online through Intuit's official OAuth 2.0 protocol. We request only the permissions necessary to read your financial data. We do not write to, modify, or delete any data in your QBO account. You can revoke the App's access to your QBO account at any time through the App's Settings page or directly through your Intuit account settings at accounts.intuit.com.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal and financial data we have stored about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Disconnect your QBO account at any time
  • Withdraw consent for data processing

9. Cookies and Tracking

The App uses essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics that track your behavior across other websites.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

11. Contact

If you have questions or concerns about this Privacy Policy or our data practices, please contact your account administrator or the development team managing this application.
